About Sue Melke

Sue Melke has been the CEO of Melke Pty Ltd for 35 years and has always been recognized by leading experts in the Entertainment & Corporate arenas as one of the most forward-thinking branding minds in the country. Sue has amassed an unparalleled understanding of product branding, production, and marketing and is a well-regarded creative in consumer engagement marketing campaigns that inevitably result in mass public awareness. She has worked with hundreds of Fortune 500 brands, including Procter & Gamble, American Express, Nestle, Coca-Cola, and Beyonce.

Early in her career, Sue worked in National Publicity & Promotions for Sydney’s number one Arthouse theater The Dendy. In addition to scouting titles for the distribution arm of the theater, Sue coordinated media campaigns for Dendy film releases and publicity for actors including Academy award-winners, Helen Mirren, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Colin Firth. Sue also worked with directors including Lasse Hallstrom, Jim Jarmusch, Patricia Rozema, Wim Wenders, and Academy Award-winners, Kenneth Branagh, Mike Leigh & Spike Lee.

A master negotiator, Sue found a niche in the marketplace by merging corporate brand values with entertainment and lifestyle opportunities. At the age of twenty-three, Sue opened her own company that specialized in creating customized music compilations and music supervision TVC services to help Fortune-500 brands and International Advertising Agencies with consumer engagement.

In 2014 Sue served on the Advisory Board of Judge Bruce Einhorn’sAsylum project” a non-profit Human Rights organization that provides indigent asylum seekers and victims of torture and human trafficking with legal, therapeutic, and social services, to integrate them lawfully and successfully into the fabric of American life.

In 2015 Sue was acknowledged with Marriage Equality USA‘s Community Award for her work as a Producer of the award-winning “SHE4ME” Marriage Equality PSA viral video with generated more than 5 million views and was also honored with the 2016 OutMusic Video of the Year Award.

In 2016, Sue spent 12 months working as a lead producer on the Humanitarian project “Rock Against Trafficking” (RAT) before moving on to her own humanitarian projects. The 501c3 charity RAT “Set Them Free” project engaged global artists including Carlos Santana, Fergie/Slash, Rob Thomas (Matchbox Twenty), Julian Lennon, Heart, Journey, and Nickelback, who all recorded cover versions of Sting and Police songs for the ‘Set Them Free’ album to raise funds and overall awareness of Human Trafficking.

In 2017, Sue produced and edited a video “Be the Change”, an inspiring music video about Civil Rights. The music video and interview with the songwriters were shared during a live stream on Hallmark Channel’s Facebook page to more than half a million people.

Later that year she took her passion for philanthropy to the next level and sourced disruptive technologies to provide sustainable alternatives for the survival of this planet. Sue created innovative strategies and cross-promotional opportunities to brand and package new and disruptive technologies across multiple industries including Health and Wellness, Sustainability, Renewable Energy, and the Remediation of spoiled food and crops.

In 2019, Sue founded “I Am a Superwoman”, a global initiative with a message of re-calibration and reeducation. It’s about shifting the societal mindset to empower women to step up to claim their voice so that men and women can work together to build a better tomorrow for the next generation. Sue negotiated a partnership with Commander Celeste Gleave, Founder of Sheroes United, who was also the civilian counterpart to the joint chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon under President Obama. Sue and Sheroes United staged a Summit at the Beverly Hills Hotel working with the Utah Attorney General’s office and Attorney General Sean Reyes.

Sue was invited to join FYVE STAR, Inc as the Senior Executive VP. She and Commander Gleave are currently working with multiple air force and navy bases to conduct pilot programs to remove PFAS from drinking water among other water treatment solutions. It is expected the program will trigger the national adoption of the technology by the US Military. 

Sue’s passion for the Arts sees her as an official Advisor to the production company, American Picture House. As a Producer, she is currently securing funding for multiple feature films including “SpecOps” and “Bucket List” (a movie about a young black girl’s journey from homelessness to empowerment).
